"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

A photomanipulator, nature/macro photographer and now - a fractalist. I fell in love with fractals around 2005 when my adventure with DeviantArt began. I collected on my devwatch most of the best fractalists here and watched their works with silent adoration. Two or three years later I tried to make my first fractal. I failed, results wasn't like I expected of course so I left it and came back to my main domain - photomanipulations.. Now, almost seven years after my first days as a community member I can say about myself "a fractalist". Only beginner, but still. I have now more patience, I want to learn and be proud of myself, not only get thousands of faves and kind comments
Thank you all for your support, this means a lot for me. There are many things I have to and want to learn and improve my skills, but I believe I can make it.
